saved me in the nick of time . fixed in 6 hours. got lucky. Strongly suggest working with these guys. Never go to Best Buy (Geek Squad) unless you are into some serious sodomy. No lube ,dildos with wood screws etc.

Excellent experience with Chipheads in Richfield. Old iMac now has new life and is a virtual sprinter relative to its arthritic condition prior to a walk-in fix that increased RAM. Bravo.

Friday morning my fairly old Dell desktop would not even "boot up." I am fairly computer illiterate but at the same time at the age of 60 I make my living on my computer. I have a computer guy that has helped me before but he was out of town and I left several messages at companies I "googled" up from a back up computer that barely works and this was about 6am. "Sam" from "ChipHeads" called me back at 8:02 am and was very reassuring and I had my computer at his Richfield location by 8:30am. I did pay an "express fee" to have this worked on almost immediately and got my computer back the next day early afternoon. I called a number of times and Sam and Max were very patient as I know this can be annoying and then I got it home and the screen would not co-incide with the computer and I brought it back and Max solved that issue. Today (Monday morning) there were still a few unresolved issues and I called Sam just after 8am and we went over it over the phone and he spent 40 minutes with me solving issues and was nver annoyed and never made me feel "inadequate" about this whole deal and always treated me with respect...bottom line these guys are great and please use them, refer them and you will be happy I am sure. My iPhone screen was smashed after taking a tumble off my roof. I thought I would have to bite the bullet and get a new phone but Chipheads was able to fix it like new and install a new battery in just a few hours.

I called the Penn Ave location when trying to find a new set of HP cooling fans for my ZD8000 (2004 model). They were honest and straight up that they "could" sell me a new fan step up from HP but they suggested that I try one of their COMPETITORS!!! for a better price. The time and $$ involved on that laptop isn't worth it.They even went on that i would be better off getting a new one on sale at best buy or order online. When the day comes that I need some other parts I'll check these guys out for sure!! Any company that will openly suggest that their competition is better suited for an application means that they take their own work seriously and with integrity!!

My computer was repaired but I was treated in a demeaning manner by the staff (possibly because I'm female and over 50). Sisters - go somewhere else!

Recently I contacted Chipheads in regards to a problem I was having with my wireless networking card in my laptop. The technician was very helpful and offered to test my laptop to determine if I simply needed a new card. Upon arriving I was greeted by friendly staff who assessed that my laptop was part of a series that had a manufacturer defect and could not be fixed without replacing the motherboard. As opposed to trying to sell me the $500 fix he recommended that I could most likely have the computer fixed for free by going through the manufacturer, even without the warranty! That level of honesty and service is difficult to find anywhere! In addition, of all the businesses I had researched, Chipheads had the best hours by far! I will be returning for all of my future needs and will highly recommend them to anyone!
