The customer service has become very poor. I just tried to verify that a stop payment was placed on a check (I... (More) The customer service has become very poor. I just tried to verify that a stop payment was placed on a check (I filled out the form yesterday at one of their branches). It appears it was not done. I spoke with someone who said "who helped you yesterday?". All I remembered is it was a young lady who helped me in the lobby but was also working the drive up window. The CSR said "Hold on"..and I was placed on hold. Then the phone began to ring again for over 40 rings with no response. I twice called back and the receptionist placed my call back to the tellers. NO ONE would answer..just voice mail. When I called a fourth time and complained, the receptionist told me "It would be rude to a customer sitting at a desk or window to answer a call"...I replied "It's my fault that you are understaffed or undersupervised?" I was "in line" first trying to find out if a stop payment was done properly...and I'm guessing it wasn't. I am going to begin the steps to move all my accounts. (Hide)
