The Mick's Classic Carpet was founded by Mick Light. Many know him as the long time resident and manager of Nanticoke Home's Long Neck Floor Covering Outlet. When Nanticoke Homes decided their Long Neck shop was not necessary anymore, Mr. Light decided it was time to open his own business. Mick's Classic Carpet has been operating out of the Burton Realty building near Food Lion at the intersection of Del. 24 and Long Neck Road since February 17,2004. However, Mr. Light has been in the floor covering business for over two decades. Prior to managing the business in Nanticoke, Mr. Light managed a floor covering installation business for several years covering Rehoboth Beach and other coastal areas.
