SENT TO OWNER Hello, My husband and I have lunch or dinner at Maggie's Farm Restaurant about once a week and have enjoyed it very much. Over the last month, however, I have had several minor issues at your restaurant with "accidentally" being served gluten-containing items when I go to great lengths to emphasize that my meals must be gluten free. Last weekend on 1-31-15 my husband and I sat at the bar. I ordered a gluten free salad. About half way into our meal I noticed that the meat in my salad appeared to have a very heavy coating of seasoning. Just to be cautious I moved the meat off my plate and asked the bartender to check with the kitchen that the seasoning was in fact gluten free. She told me that, because the menu said "gluten free", there was no need to ask the kitchen. I explained again that it was important for me to know if I could have a reaction to my meal.
