Wagenburg Farm's goal is to be a leading regional source for large, field grown, climactically adapted, native shade trees for conservation landscaping and habitat restoration for both residential and commercial customers. We started planting the nursery in 2005 selecting species from historical lists for their adaptability, hardiness and transplant survivability. Our Fall 2008 inventory includes native trees for conservation landscaping, habitat restoration or instant impact for the homeowner. All trees are field grown and acclimated to local soil and weather patterns. Visit to see over 3,000 trees representing 25 species to be available in this expanding nursery. Contact us for prices and availability or to make an appointment to visit us here at the farm.

More Wagenburg Farm has been providing quality hay, cattle and trees to Northern Virginia customers since the early 1970's. Our 200 plus acre farm, located in Middleburg Virginia strives to produce high quality agricultural and horticultural goods to local farms and the general public. In 2007, Wagenburg Farm was awarded the Bay Friendly Clean Water Farm Award from the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation. This award recognizes conservation efforts of farms in the Chesapeake Bay watershed to protect the waterways that feed into the Bay. By establishing riparian buffers around stream beds and excluding livestock from Little River, a tributary of the Potomac River that runs through the farm, Wagenburg Farm has taken measures to positively impact the water quality of the Chesapeake Bay. This project was overseen by Michael Calley, who has worked as the farm manager since 2005. Mr. Calley resides at the farm with his wife and four children.Less
