Eastfield College has served the southeastern corner of Dallas County, providing accessible and affordable educational opportunities since opening its doors in 1970. As the second of seven Dallas County Community Colleges, Eastfield College provides a full range of academic transfer programs to approximately 10,000 students each semester. Eastfield offers associate degrees in arts and sciences that meet freshman and sophomore course requirements for a bachelors degree at four-year colleges and universities. Career programs in technical and service fields complete the core of extensive, quality instruction offered. In addition, several thousand students annually participate in rewarding, extensive workforce/continuing education sources for students of all ages.
