      General Info
      The Job Council, founded in 1975, provides workforce resources to businesses, youths and adults throughout Jackson and Josephine counties, Ore. It also helps parents to locate child care providers and trains the child care providers through its child care resource network. Its business services include application and resume review and processing, recruitment and skills assessment, customized training programs, on-job training with partial wage reimbursement and referral services for dislocated workers. The council provides assistance in identifying career goals and job search and provides training to individuals who are required to find a good job. In addition, it offers specialized child care referral services and maintains a database of more than 400 child care providers. The Job Council is located in Medford, Ore.
