Bleeding Nail beds, Unscrupulous Practice - My nails are ruined after going for a gel manicure, which is supposed to be healthier for the natural nails than acrylic. Tips are crooked and the nails are filed to a slant even to the point where nail bed shows on one side. Worse than that, I left the salon with bleeding cuticles and there is blood trapped under some of the nails because the natural nail was ground down to painful thinness. Also, this salon applies acrylic to the nail and then a gel topcoat only (though they still charge full price) which I now learn is a practice of unscrupulous salons. Wish I had researched this salon before walking in. I'll never allow my nails to be mangled like this again.
