Thank you so much for the wonderful carrot cake you made for a surprise 25th anniversary and a graduate degree celebration. The cake was beautifully decorated and delicious - OMG - I never saw a layer cake enjoyed by all. I have already recommend you to others. Thank you again

HIGHLY recommended. It's great to see a tasty bakery back in Mansfield......From muffins to pastries to fresh baked bread they have it all......the restaurant section comes with a huge menu as well......Your own fault if you don't pay them a visit! 5 STARS easily.......

You can truly see the passion these owners have for making the restaurant and bakery successful! The breakfast and lunch items are delicious......it's a showcase brought to fruition from years of experience in the kitchen. The staff is courteous and always willling to help. If you haven't devoured a world famous peanut butter ball, make sure you stop by the bakery on the way out! *****

i have gone here a bunch of times, and i cant seem to find one thing to complain about! everything is always good, the food comes in big portions and nice and hot. they staff is very friendly and helpful. i love sitting by the window sipping my coffee. the menu is large, with lots of options to choose from, and many combinations. i have no complaints, just praise! great job to the owner and staff! keep up the good work!

To the guest who had gone six times but didn't like it.then why did you go back six times!!!! We found the good wonderful and large portions. The owner is very very nice. On sundays they have someone passing out samples while you wait to be seated and wait for your food. The bakery is delicious. The cakes are a little sweet. I have tried many bakery items and most are excellent. You must try it. If your unhappy , tell the owner and he wil fix it,

It's hard to rate this place because it is inconsistent. I've had their peanut butter balls and bismarks when it first opened and they were really good. Yesterday, I bought both items again and they weren't the same. Also, the pistachio muffins need a little more salt and more pistachios. With that being said, they need to put some pistachios on top of the muffins because they all sank to the bottom. This place is pretty expensive, so I think people avoid it. Also, the service is inconsistent. I've only been to the bakery, but I always feel like they're trying to rush me out of it even if I'm the only one there! They're not friendly, but they're not quite rude; they need to learn how to engage people. Just a thought, but they should be handing out free samples to commuter rail passengers to generate interest and potentially more business.

Have tried this bakery a few times. I found the scones dry. The meatpie crust was very oily, maybe it was made with lard. The staff are very nice and everything looks wonderful. I will give it another try.

Outstanding service! Many menu choices and the food was EXCELLENT!!! Sat at the bar area and was able to watch the chefs prepare my meal. A young man who was one of the chef's came over to me and asked how my meal was, which I found to be impressive since he obviously cares a lot about the food he prepares. Such outstanding, friendly staff! Can't wait to go back. :)

I've been here twice for breakfast, and both times it was excellent. Last Sunday there was a bunch of people waiting to be seated, and I have to say it's worth the wait. The waitress serving was very friendly, and very busy, but not flustered by the rush. I'll definitely be trying the lunch menu soon. As far as the bakery I've been tempted but luckily for my waistline, I have so far looked in those cases after eating... that will soon change. I'm glad to see there are more choices for breakfast in the area now, I'll be trying another new one down the street that just started serving breakfast , but this is my new favorite.

ate there on a saturday for breakfast. It was ok. Not great for sure. Went to the bakery another day to buy a bday cake and was told I had to order about 3 days ahead. That needs to change. Walked out with nothing from there. They don't make their own bread either, they buy it so can't judge on that.

Tried Aunt Aleda's more than once and have yet to get good food. An egg sandwich does not come with scrambled eggs, it made with a fried egg. The bakery items were bland, they needed something....pie - bland, cookies - bland. I also heard service is not good. And a calzone does not come with tomato sauce?! Had high hopes for Aunt Aleda's but it been nothing but a disappointment.

Oh my gosh, what a great little hometown place in this great little town. The food was fantastic!! The bakery goods delicious. My family is ready for me to go back for more. A bakery is perfect for Mansfield, what a great idea owner!!!!!! Have eaten in the restaurant three times now. Wow, lots of food, many choices and delicious!!! If there are any complaints, its the wait staff, not that friendly and a little too slow. That will come in time as they are all new but its vital your wait staff be friendly. Owner came around and talked to everyone, what a nice man. Best of luck!!!!!

The food in Aunt Aleda's was super delicious. The owners have done a great job making the place feel very homey. The wait staff needs to be a little friendlier and move a little quicker. The owners are very nice and friendly and the food is very inexpensive for great quality, and you get lots of it. The bakery is soooo good and very attractive to the eye. The items are NOT expensive at all compared to bakeries I have been too. You can tell the bakers take pride in their food quality, it is delicious!!! Best of luck with this small town place, we hope it stays around for a long time. You wont be sorry you tried Aunt Aledas.

Tried this place today, desserts look really good, but too expensive. not sure why nobody else mentioned that. I bought 4 cookies (which are small) & an individual apple pie ( which looks adorable) & it cost me $12. For me who likes to bake, it is not worth it......growing up down towards new bedford & fall river where there are many amazing bakeries that are very inexpensive and very fresh, I found the prices way too high. They don't even offer discounts if you buy 1/2 of full dozen of an item. I won't be back. and if anyone asks me I will have to say it's too expensive.
