I adopted my Eddie from this shelter almost 5 years ago. He is a wonderful cat! The shelter is so much fun to go to see all the cats and dogs. The workers are friendly and the animals are happy to see people. You can volunteer there to help out. I went there a long time before I could adopt, and they let me sit in the cat room and visit. That's how I knew it would be Eddie. The cages are clean and the animals are kept away from the un-friendly ones or the ones that may have a cold. I love this place!

They take real real good care of the dogs and cats. The cats get their cages cleaned daily. The cat is let out of the cage, food, water, toys, other cats are their for them as well. The cage is cleaned, litter checked emtied an fresh litter put in new clean bedding put in, clean toys put in correct food an amount put in as well. this is done to all cat cages. dogs are let out side still fenced in so they can't run away food an water dishes emtied an wash refilled, bedding an toys cleaned fresh clean toy& bedding put in kennel. before any clean things are put in the kennel they clean the intire kennel then put the things back in when each kennel is cleaned an "freshened" they let the dog back in the works / volenteers can play & walk the dogs after the cleaning is done. If you really care about animals an you see this place first hand you will realize your not the only one that wants the best for these animals.
