maintenance and management is poor out here pay 578.00 and cant get no one to come and fix anything I was told that my apartment was going to get painted ad never got painted, tub need to be fix, floors has hole in it under the carpet , they have covered the hole up with carpet and my kitchen vent leaks water , so take my advance don't move out here

I have lived here a year and a couple of months ago this place received new ownership. I thought the maintenance issues were bad before but they have gotten worse. When we paid rent last we were told they were fixing up the place, which really needs to be done, but in the process of getting new apartments ready, they are neglecting the current residents. I have had several maintenance issues and it takes weeks and even months to get things fixed, if at all. I have put in several requests for the same things over and over again, and when I ask when will these things be taken care of they act as though it is the first time they have heard of it. I'm fixing to stop calling the office and start calling the owners

i love living at Highland Hills, but their lates fees are too high. $150 is alot, they are pocketing the money. And, it seems like they are letting alot of Section 8 people move in , that not gonna work, because their kids gonna be noisy and, that not gonna be fair to the people who have to work. The apartments need painting . They do not look like they used to look. i am glad to have a roof over my head, but i think i rather invest my money in renting a house . alot of things they could improve on. one of the maintance guys is noisy, he thinks he owns the property. i just feel its all a scam. we have never met the people who own the porperty. we only go by what the landlord says, and she is a very sneaky looking person, and i do not believe nothing she says. They also seems prejudice towards African americans. Like is said, i have been at Highland Hills a pretty good while, and i just work and pretty much try to keep to myself. They should beautify the place a little more. oh well
