Locally owned and operated for over 40 years, Harris Ford was originally started by Gene Harris in 1955 on the small triangular lot on highway 99 that is now our used car facility. The service department worked under tents and the entire dealership's sales and administration was housed in the small 900 square foot building that has become somewhat of a local landmark. In 1963 a 3 acre parcel west of 64th Ave west was purchased and the present building was constructed shortly thereafter. As the dealership grew, adjacent property was acquired bringing the dealership to a total of 6 buildings on 7 acres, capable of holding over 900 vehicles. Harris Ford employs almost 145 people.
