      Founded in 1962 as Belgium Tool and Die Company, Belvac Production Machinery is one of the international leaders in the production of systems that provide beverage can makers with high-speed trimming, necking, base reprofiling and re-forming, shaping, bottom-rim coating, flanging and inspection technology. Each year, an estimated 198 billion beverage cans are produced using systems manufactured by Belvac Production Machinery. For plastic containers, the company designed a modular platform systems that can address containers as diverse as cylindrical with round center necks, both single-up and neck-to-neck logs; offset necks; and the rapidly growing nonround designs, many with non-round neck finishes. In addition, Belvac offers unique post trimming technologies, such as its patented chipless burnishing technology for eliminating most parting line mismatches and resolving consumer complaints about rough edges on the bottle ID. Belvac maintains its corporate headquarters in Lynchburg, Va., and has operations in England and the Czech Republic.
