B&W Nuclear Operations Group is licensed to possess high-enriched uranium and is home to Nuclear Operations Group's Uranium Processing and Research Reactors group (UPRR), which provides uranium downblending applications, as well as plate-type reactor design and production services for research purposes. The company is a part of The Babcock & Wilcox Company, which has been manufacturing civilian, national security and high-consequence applications for more than 140 years.
