I shopped at Eddins Furniture today after visiting other furniture stores. Eddins had a large selection and I was able to find what I was looking for. The man that helped with our selection and questions was very friendly, helpful and courteous. The experience was easy and pleasant. The purchase was delivered to our home the same day it was purchased, which was an added surprise. The men that delivered our furniture later this afternoon were also polite and courteous. Easily a 5 star rating.

Eddins has been a consistently good choice for furniture in Lubbock, TX since I moved here in 1995. I have worked in the furniture industry as a salesperson and decorator since 2005, and I have never been afraid to refer customers to them in the event that I could not provide particular pieces or brands. The atmosphere has always been inviting and the staff helpful and courteous. I have never felt pressured or felt snubbed even when shopping them as friendly competitors. In the past, the Eddins family has even shopped in stores that I worked in, and they seemed charming and genuine. Al has always been helpful, and I would never be concerned about the treatment of customers or clients that I had to refer to another store. Thank you.

My Mother purchased a head board. Told it would be 4-6 weeks until it was delivered. After 2 months I called and they said that the item had been discontinued. We were not notified until we called. At the same time she ordered 2 bedside tables. Took 3 months. She was told that they had called "2 weeks" ago" to inform her that they were in. She never got the message and they did not try to contact her again.. Very poor customer service.

As I have purchased from this store before, I went today planning to buy a recliner. Several people were in the recliner section but they were not there to help the customer. Some were sitting in the recliners eating and some were laid back sleeping. At no time, did anyone offer to assist us as we walked aroung the store. Needless to say, I went elsewhere and purchased my recliner.
