      I live in Richmond, VA. When I was notified of the death of a family member in Los Angeles I had no idea which mortuary to call. I called Abbott & Hast on the recommendation of a funeral home in Texas I had dealt with, and was very pleased with the result. Their services were delivered promptly and professionally, and the price was what I would have expected to pay back in Austin, not in a large city like Los Angeles. Because of a change I requested, they gave me a partial refund promptly without being asked. All of this is a good recommendation for Abbott & Hast in particular, and family-owned funeral homes in general. My wife and I extend our thanks to Gordon for his understanding and assistance.
