Wow! This designer is extremely talented. It's a year later and my yard looks beautiful! I am saving so much money in water bills, gardeners, and having to buy new plants every year. I love being able to send him emails for questions because he always has a cheery attitude and great new suggestions. I can't wait to have him do my sister's place in San Francisco!

Before I hired Ashcrow Design my backyard was a mess. Weeds, a demanding lawn, ugly trees, and everything was ugly. Lawrence, the head designer, worked with me personally. I was so happy with his creativity and his commitment to giving me a green design for my house. This year I walk outside to fragrant sages, beautiful trees, and I only have to water my vegetable gardens. I couldn't be happier with his commitment to his clients and his amazing sense of design.

Ashcrow Design worked well with our budget from the very beginning. I was worried when he showed us how small most of the plants were going to be in our garden, but a year later our garden looks very full and lush. I love how he used native california plants (who have names I cannot prounounce) and how he hide a local sculptor to design us a custom statue in our backyard. Our house is on a hill and all our neighbors have just iceplant on their slope, while we have a glorious hillside of color! We're very happy with everything Ashcrow Design did for our yard. Our favorite feature, the meditative garden where we practice our yoga with friends on the weekends.. it's so peaceful. Thank you Ashcrow Design!

Simply awesome designer! I met Lawrence through a mutual friend, a real estate agent, who had used Lawrence to help sell her property in Eagle Rock. Lawrence was hired to solve some issues we were having in our Santa Monica property (We own a few apartment complexes) with water leaking into our underground patio. Lawrence patiently fixed the problem them gave us a new design around the complex that cut our water budget 66%, and our entire complex is cooler, prettier, and our tenants are much happier. Recently we used him again to design our home in North Hollywood, and he did an amazing job. He worked with the existing palm trees and changed our courtyard furniture to provide a tropical bungalow feet, then changed the front into a Japanese-themed garden complete with beautiful maples and a pond! Our landscape contractor loved working with his drawings, and we liked how he personally selected our plant material. I couldn't recommend him more. Great designer!

I have the opposite of a green thumb. With little or no time to spend on keeping up the appearance of dying grass and plants, and spending countless dollars on half dead Home Depot plants, that I was sure to finish off the job, I thought having a garden that was more tolerable to the Los Angels environment would be the way to go. Transformed a barren wasteland of a backyard into an amazing series of gardens that seem to flow from one after another, with an extremely innovate walkway my grandmother could get around in on her wheelchair, an irrigation system that uses a quarter of water of my old system, and the flowers... wow. Every year it gets prettier and prettier. Hiring Ashcrow Landscape Design is like hiring your best friend to design your yard, only your best friend happens to be a master gardener and architect! I just had my house appraised, and the landscaping improved my property value over $75,000! I only wish he would design my house too, he's such a visionary, and so much fun to talk to!
