We've eaten at Lazlos several times. Always in the haymarket area until 2 weeks ago, we ate at the one on Old Cheney. As usual the food is excellent. If you haven't tried the brownie kalua dessert, you don't know what you are missing...it's the best brownie/ice cream dessert I have ever tasted, with a very generous portion of ice cream...fan-flippin-tastic

Despite past experiences last night my meal was disappointing. It came late and the 4 small bite size bits of chicken in my southwest salad were hidden under all of the lettuce. It would stretch believability to say that wasn't intentional. The added bummer was the salad next to me had 10 slices of chicken very visible on top. Server didn't return to check if everything was ok, otherwise I might have actually ended up with a meal.

In the last year or so we have noticed quite a decline in the attitude of some staff, rudeness, as well as the food has gone down in quality of taste . Leaving out ingredients in recipes ? to save on cost . We may never be back .

Everyone probably already knows Lazlo's is a great place to dine. We were there again last evening and as usual they were busy. We called ahead so our wait once we arrived was a very short wait. This is a nice feature they offer their customers. The food is great and if you don't think what you ordered is what you received, they are always helpful and willing to prepare your order again. The servers have great knowledge of the dishes and the specials of the day. This is a very fine family dinning restaurant.
