John Malick is indeed an artist, and a very good one to be sure! I'd been referred to Mr. Malick for photographic restoration work by a local photographer and I was told that Mr. Malick is the best in his field. That assessment certainly proved true; I can't imagine that anyone could have done better restoration work. Needless to say I am one very satisfied customer.

I have an old 48 inch panoramic view picture that was fragile and framed. I wanted a copy to be sure it is preserved. Mr. Malick removed it from the frame, made a copy that is better than the original and added identifying features so our children will know which of their family members are in the picture. The copy is so much clearer than the original and we still have the reframed original. I had waited a long time to get this done and am glad to have such a professional job.

My brother had an old photo of my mother reproduced for me several years ago with Malick's and the work was superb. When it was time for me to have a photo of my mother-in-law reproduced, Malick's was the only one I wanted to do the work. Mr. Malick is so professional and his work is aboslutely outstanding. I have always heard of the Studio from my years of growing up in Lexington and it was a priviledge to have Malick's help me preserve the memory of my mother and mother-in-law. I can't say enough about the quality of service rendered by John Malick in connection with a family photo restoration. John's knowledge of photographic history and his willingness to spend the time to explain and explore that history is unequalled to any service I have received recently. My original photo was from circa 1920s and the restoration is unbelievable. It is without reservation that I recommend Malick's Art Studio for photo restoration.

I enjoyed meeting and working with John on my vintage photos of my parents. The photos look better than the originals but still have the look of an old photo. .Mr. Malick is not only very professional, but his honesty, interest and ,caring approach makes one comfortable in leaving valuable vintage family photos in his care, I was thrilled with the result of him and his wife"s work on very old portraits of my grandparents and their first two children. The portraits are absolutely beautiful and met all expectations. I am really pleased and thankful for their work.

Mr. Malik processed my picture with the utmost professionalism. His work is "as good as it gets". I was so pleased with the copy of my Great-great-grandfather what I had 5 copies made. The new pictures are so vibrant and yet they still look aged. He also added new backing on the old picture, and was kind enough to frame 2 of the new ones. His prices are reasonable for the kind of quality that he produces. I highly recommend his studio work.
