Byb was founded to satisfy the need for high quality dance education where the students are the priority and are provided with performance opportunities. With a non-competitive and friendly environment, Byb is for and about the students. Byb has been a proud recipient of the NFL Chapter Kentucky Grant. In 2004 Byb was nominated for the Minority Business of the Year Award by Commerce Lexington and in 2005 Byb was winner of the Minority Business of the Year Award. Dance is a discipline that, by itself, will educate students in many different ways. Adalh is a firm believer in the arts as a source of well-being. Dancers of all ages will be taught to interact and respect themselves as well as other dancers. Dancers will benefit from this art discipline by improving their self-esteem, self-respect, as well as their ability to concentrate, resolve problems and ability to memorize. Students who dance have a better understanding of their bodies. They also have more stamina, body control and muscle tone. Dance increases coordination and musicality. Dance is considered an art, but dancers are also athletes.
