      Polartec is a manufacturer of synthetic fleece and various types of textiles. It offers a collection of more than 300 different fabrics. The company manufactures the Polartec brand of fabric that that is used for water repellent, flame-resistant and lightweight clothing options. The apparel made from Polartec fabrics also repel wind, rain and snow and are suitable for outdoor activities, including fitness classes, hunting and fishing. Polartec manufactures technical fabrics under the Power Dry, Power Stretch, Thermal Pro, Windbloc, Wind Pro and Power Shield trade names. It produces clothing from recycled polyester, wool and corn-based fleece. The company partners with over 600 apparel brands, who use Polartec fabrics in their garments in nearly 50 countries worldwide.
