Neal and Lisa quoted me a price for the move based on the furniture I quoted over the phone. Neal them came out and did an onsite inspection and the quote was exactly the same and it never changed. Neal and his sons delivered the furniture exactly when he said he would and they worked tirelessly until everything was in place and set up. Everything intact!! It was a shot in the dark hiring them from Florida but I had a good feeling based on all the conversations over the phone and they proved to be as professional and friendly as I thought they would be. I've heard horror stories about movers but am saying right here that I would hire this company again without hesitation if I ever move again. They were fantastic from beginning to end!! Neil the owner came right out to my home gave me a wonderful price. I am a 56 year old woman doing the packing myself and having them move it. They came out to my house with 4 man and work straight thur for 5 hours working to get my big 5 bedroom home move. They work very hard and constance, and very helpful to me. The only problem I had is they got to my new address in the morning instead of afternoon. I didn't know they wouldn't take anything off the truck unless they have cash or certified check. My sister was there and was able to get the money so I could repay her. They did charge me extra for the wait but this is what I like best about them. When I call Lisa on the following business day she saw the problem and mail me back the extra money. Bob and his team pick my furniture up and Felix and the guys deliver and set up everything the way I wanted. They even drop off a couch for my daughter in Va. Beach. Thank you. (Hide)

I've moved a few times before, and I can say that this is the first move where I was left feeling like I hadn't been taken to the cleaners, and my things were well taken care of during the move. There were no surprises with the initial estimate vs the end cost. They were right on target with their quote. They delivered what they promised, and I am an extremely happy customer. The owner "Neal" was present as part of the 3-men moving team. He has demonstrated a highly regarded professionalism. Here, instead of talking about issues of finding the "Right" moving company, I'll focus on the key points why I feel that I found this "Right" company: Payless Moving did all these: 1) Ms. Lisa Kirk answered all my questions on the phone with patience(and another good part is that all she said was what I got, no foul); 2) movers arrived twenty minutes prior to pre-negotiated time; 3) did not waste moving time; 4) without asking for any additional charges such as wrapping my furniture, etc.; 5) not the cheapest mover but with competitive pricing; &, 6) careful movers! In future moves, I will request the owner Neal's presence for any move since he demonstrated the ability to take charge and carried-out the task in a very satisfying manner. Giving credit where it is due, Neil was prompt and thorough annd delivered on all of the commitments made to us. He and his crew were on time, very organized, worked rapidly and neatly. Best of all our furniture arrived without so much as a scratch. We can't say enough about this being a very positive experience.
