This gives our residents the assurance that help is close at hand. In addition to the nurse call system, exits are secured and the building is protected from fire by smoke and heat detectors. DINING....Selective menus and special diets are prepared according to a physician's orders and are supervised by a registered dietitian. Special dinners, featuring residents' favorite meals, are popular occasion. The activity and dietary departments coordinate these dinners, as well as special holiday celebrations. THERAPIES...A professional staff of physical, occupational and speech therapists are available to foster the resident's rehabilitation and allow for maximum functioning. Therapies are provided as prescribed by the resident physician. ADDITIONAL SERVICES...Dental, laboratory and x-ray services are available through local agencies, as well as mobile units for on-site testing and evaluation.
