I've been going to this salon for years and I always have and still do love it! i've gone to a few different stylists and nail techs (which I love having that option!) and I've never had any issues since I've been coming. The only time when my hair wasn't cut short enough, I called and they got me in immediately w/perfect success.

I went to Amanda and she was truly amazing! I've been searching for "the perfect" salon since moving here a couple years ago and I've definitely found it! She gave me exactly what I asked for and my hair looks healthier than ever. Highly recommend Amanda and Salon West!

Debbie & I discussed exactly what I wanted...darker foils that would tone down the blonde in my hair. The result was shocking!

My hair was blonder. the gray around my face was still there plus I had dark brown roots in various spots!

I went back for a fix and between Debbie & another stylist, I came out with the same ultra blond but dark brown roots over my entire head. The only roots that weren't brown were the still untouched gray roots around my face.

Ugh! Spent $140 & that didn't include a cut or

blow dry. For a supposed "upscale" salon, I could have made this mess all by myself.

Had a color and cut with Chelsea and she more than exceeded my expectations. She did exactly what I asked for and was extremely professional. I enjoyed the atmosphere and even had a complimentary glass of wine! Will definitely be back!

When i first went i was very satisfied. i was so glad i find a future haircut place. the woman who cut me hair was Danielle. she is great and patience. my hair is very long. she did a amazing job.



but this i did not find her on their website .so i was thinking it's a good salon others must as good as Danielle. but NOOOOO. the woman name Brandi. she is the worse haircut Hair Stylist i ever seen. she met me first she told me my hair is too long. i need to pay more money, otherwise she won't dry my hair. takes too long. OK, I UNDERSTAND. but she cut my side hair with when she cut my bangs. you do this for living. now i feel she just fool me. because it's easy. don't worth her time.



Same salon huge difference. so i wish the people who go there be careful. choose the right person!!!!!!!!!

It looks nice and the people are friendly, but I wasn't happy with my haircut again. I've only been here one other time and had my haircut and got a pedicure. I didn't like my haircut the first time either, but the pedicure was wonderful. The second and probably last time here, a man brought his children in and his little boy was getting a haircut. The little boy screamed and cried the whole time. I thought this was a higher end establishment. Why would you allow someone to bring their children into a place that adults want to relax in? Again, the staff is friendly and professional, but I don't like my haircut and it wasn't a relaxing experience the last time there. The prices are reasonable for a higher end salon, but the girl I got needs to listen to her clients and not give them helmet hair. I'm sorry, but I won't be back.

I’ve been going to Salon West for a few years; I started going there because the hair stylist I was following from salon to salon started working there. Since the first visit I was sold! Denise is my awesome hair stylist. She does my cut, and highlight/color. I love her work! I always get compliments on my hair. She is always nice to chat with, has good ideas and very creative. Usually, I will just let her do her magic with my hair, but if I do bring in a picture for some thing I like, she can match it. All the girls at Salon West are so nice. The atmosphere is so relaxing from the moment you walk in the door. The front girls greet you when you walk in and see if you need anything, like a drink or a snack. It’s nice to get pampered in a relaxing environment after a long day at work. I highly recommend this salon. It’s a great experience.

I made the mistake of stopping in here for a wash & haircut. A lousy job and OVERPRICED ! The girls working here are not friendly and have an attitude about themselves. A week later i went to another salon to have my hair cut correctly and at a fair price, about half the price and a better job. If you are going to charge high prices, and i have checked around, you have THE highest prices, you should at least do a good job and be friendly. You should pay attention to the customer, not talking with your co workers.

Great first visit! I was very pleased! Everyone was so warm and welcome. My hair stylist was incredibly nice and so helpful with up-to-date styles and color. and my hair turned out wonderful. They offered me drinks and cookies too! Since I was a new I even got a bag full of coupons for my next visits and a sample hair product. I recommend Salon West to everyone!

I am 26 years old and live on Belleair Beach. I use to drive all the way to Tampa to get my hair done, but the distance sure took its toll. So I was in search for a salon that was not outdated and of course that had stylists who are extremely advanced. While I was at Starbucks I saw that there was a new salon opened, but later learned that it is actually their second location. Let me just say that I am thrilled that I finally found a high-end salon that is local! My hair turned out amazing and the facial I received was extremely relaxing! This salon is definitely all-around perfect!

Having been a client of Heather's for 6 years, having known Laura for even longer, and being there from before the beginning, even before the creation and execution of Salon West, and having received an untold amount services, I am definitely in a position to review this salon.



First off, it's first class all the way. Each employee from the reception desk to your stylist makes going to Salon West a completely comfortable, highly enjoyable experience. There are no noses stuck in the air here. Everyone is friendly and glad to see you. Whether you are there for a massage, a facial, their expert nail techs, or their master hairstylists, you can expect both a fabulous result that will get you noticed, and have a great time doing it.



Having recently been named one of the top 200 salons in the US by Redken, I can definitely say they absolutely deserve it, and I thank them for bringing such a collection of expertise and professionalism to the Largo area. I am sure the same quality will be achieved in their soon-to-be-opened second location.



As for the comments of ny2fll23, I can only surmise that this wretched loser has some sort of personal ax to grind. This is absolutely the best salon in Largo, and I would certainly qualify it as a high end salon, without the “snooty” factor – where so many salons fail. The prices are fair for the amount of attention, professionalism, and the most important part – the result! I've never left Salon West feeling anything but fabulous, with my hair looking gorgeous! I have never, in years of going to Heather, witnessed any rudeness of any sort from anyone – that is just unimaginable. The people here are way too professional for anything that ny2fll23 described. As for ny2fll23, why, I am sure these comments are probably more self-descriptive than anything else, and I'm sure the Salon West staff is glad to wash their hands of such a troublesome, untruthful, and obviously vicious person.



Bottom line: Try them. You'll never go anywhere else. This salon incorporates the best services with the most accomplished personnel, top to bottom. You'll always be made to feel at-home with the astonishingly friendly people. Fabulous hairstyles and more by the best in the business, this salon will suit any customer. Salon West brings the best of everything to you, with a fresh and friendly style. A rare gem of a salon, I absolutely love it, and will remain a customer always.

This was the best salon I have ever been to. This area needed a place like this! The stylists were helpful and everyone was just so nice. The best part is, I walked out with my hair and nails looking wonderful.

They all have been very polite and kind everytime i've been in there. They also take the time to here what I want and then complete the job in a great fasion. I am absolutely shocked with the review ny2fl123 had left. I have been a guest at Salon West for several years now and NEVER had a bad experience with any of the staff there. I feel that the prices are extremely reasonable and couldn't ask for a better or more experienced salon. Thank you Salon West for being so wonderful!

I was 100% please with Salon West. Everyone was so friendly and made me feel very comfortable and welcome. My stylist was extremely knowledgable and really listened to what I wanted. I even got a gift bag with a little product and coupons for my next visit! Highly recommend!

The services are over-priced for the actual quality. They are confusing themselves with a high end salon. The owner was absolutely disgustingly rude to a customer while I was there. There is no excuse to treat paying customers the way she did. You lost all respect and money from this customer. I will NOT be back for the sub-par services and rude owners.
