We just noticed this place opened from the sigh at the gas station down the street. We had cream chip beef and spanish omelette It was great!!! Wish they opened at 7:00 am instead of 8:00 am.

The review below me is pretty harsh and not accurate whatsoever. I have been into the restaurant multiple times and have ordered multiple salads and they were absolutely delicious. The right thing to do would have been to confront the waitress if you were unsatisfied with your service/meal, not leave unhappy and write a degrading review. Don't let the review scare you away, go in and check it out! Great food + service.

My husband and I ate lunch here today based on the other reviews. The restaurant is attractive. Our experience was not the same as the other reviewers. My salad had bagged lettuce that I had to pick through (some was slimy with decay) and bagged cheese that was was going white from mold. The chicken was tasty but dry. The salad did not contain all the items in the description. It looked like all the components came from BJ's/Costco. Our iced-tea was from the last dregs of a container behind the bar. My husband's comment on his burrito, "Well, you never know unless you try but I'm sure not going to try this again." We were the only customers in an uncomfortably chilly restaurant. The waitress needs more experience (and clean fingernails). The cook came out and chatted with the waitress three times. His clothes were filthy. As in grossly filthy. As in they looked like he didn't bring them home to wash. Ever. As in we'll not go there again. Ever.

Four of us dined Friday night at Carolyn's Cafe and were extremely please with our meals. We had hors d'oeuvres, salad and main course. Everything was delicious. Mostly Italian fare with homemade salad dressings. The portions were large and the hors d'oeuvres alone could have been dinner. We brought wine and there was no charge for the corking service. Service started out slow, but when we told them we had theater tickets, they did all they could to speed up the service. Pleasant helpful staff. Nice glasses, flatware and dishes. Paper napkins and placemats. Clean, neat and friendly. Would recommend it to friends.

Great to see a new restaurant on Rt 896 in Landenberg. We found out tonight they are closed on Mondays and their phone numerous ends in 9 not 3. Looking forward to trying it this week.

Had lunch on opening day with my mom and sister. Food was excellent , no complaints. Seemed to be a soft opening and servers have a learning curve but the food and prices were great.

we ate both breakfast and dinner there yesterday and had excellent food. The Spanish omelet served with sour cream was really tasty, one of the best I have had. Dinner was very good. We had pasta Diavalo which was nicely spiced. It came with a lovely fresh salad with a homemade dressing. We were also served an Antipasto with really good fresh ingredients. They accommodated my vegetarian needs quite nicely. Prices were very reasonable and we would highly recommend it.
