Dont Ever Take Your Boat to R & M Marine. I took my boat to them to have it cleaned and they returned it to me damaged and dirty. They are recommended by the Lake Oswego Corporation for boat cleaning & decontamination prior to being put into Oswego Lake. When I picked my boat up the boat and trailer looked to have aged by 10 years. It appeared that they improperly used harsh chemicals like bleach and let it sit where they should not have and never finished cleaning. R & M said that the boat had been properly decontaminated, yet it had a fresh scum line on it from being in another lake and could infest Oswego Lake if not properly decontaminated. They took my money and I had to go to another marina to have it properly cleaned and decontaminated as I couldnt in good consciousness put the boat into Oswego Lake and potentially contaminate the lake. It is worth your time to drive just a little further for your boat needs.

My outboard was acting up. I called them up and described the problem and they gave me some very helpful advice on the phone on how to check fuel tank and clean it to get rid of water. It worked like a charm.‎

I bought a motor on Craig's List solely because it had been recently serviced by R&M Marine, and had the 1 year warranty. The seller listed that in the ad. Prior to purchase, I called R&M Marine and told them what was in the ad. They were kind enough to pull the Service documents for the recent service and read to me what they had done to the motor and the fact that the motor had left their facility in perfect running order just a month before. Therefore, I bought the motor and it has run perfect since I put it on the boat. Further, I have called R&M Marine since purchasing the motor with stupid maintenance questions because I do not have an owner's manual. In every case, the people that I have talked to were perfect ladies and gentlemen, and extremely helpful. This motor is not the only motor that I own and I live 5 hours away in a different state. I truly believe that it would be well worth the drive to R&M Marine to receive the care I feel my motors

I have a small runabout type jet boat, and while towing to the river, the engine cover blew off on the freeway, and was run over by a truck. The fiberglass cover was all but destroyed, with only the basic form left. I was crushed, as there is no way I could find a new replacement. I took the cover to R&M marine to see if they could repair it. After 3 months of near daily work, I am VERY happy to say I have my cover back, and it looks nearly as good as new. R&M and their wonderful fiberglass fabricator (forgot his name) did an outstanding job, and came in on budget from the original estimate. I have my boat back, thanks to R&M.‎
