Had a refrigerant leak on my evaporator, that was found in 15 minutes... Not by Touchstone Heating and Air. Instead the technician spent two hours pretending to try and identify a leak. After "unsuccessfully" finding the leak, he decided to try and tell us the leak could only be identified during a colder month (this happened in August). He refilled the refrigerant we had lost due to this mysterious leak. Charged us above market value for the refrigerant, and said we would need to make another appointment, during the fall to actually have the leak identified and repaired. Well fortunately I found a more respectful company, who has technicians with integrity and aren't trying to earn an extra penny. The competitor found the leak within the first hour of being at the location, and made the repair in less time than the Touchstone technician had been on location. In addition to this ordeal, they also tried to lie and say the unit they installed was no longer under warranty. I decided to contact the manufacturer and found out from them that our unit was indeed STILL UNDER WARRANTY. Truly shameful that they try and take advantage of their customers just to earn a little extra money. That's how you lose a customer, and in the long run lose out on other opportunity's to make money.

When we got a call late at night from our renters that our AC unit was out, my heart sank and my mind went to the worst possible situation. When another AC company came out and diagnosed our compressor as fried, I immiediately got online to search out for the tops rated company with 24-hour service. I called Mr Mark at Touchstone and he immediately began to accommodate our needs, dispatching a serviceman to look at our unit.
"josh" our serviceman was amazing!!!! Completely professional, efficient, and more than competent. He was able to fix our unit and put this pregnant momma at ease!!! The service was excellent and timely. We were explained what need to be done and the cost. The repair technician was outstanding at explaining what he was doing. We also purchases the Phenomenal Aire plasma generator and we love it. The whole house smells like new. This product is awesome.

I highly recommend this company for any service needed for your heating/air conditioning system. They are fast, friendly and very affordable. Not too forget upfront and honest!!

Mr. Touchstone installed an air-conditioning unit that he did not have permission to do. He gave me a price of $1800.00 to replace my heating unit but replaced the entire system and charged me $3300.00. The A/C unit he took out and then took the cooper out of worked. The unit he put in does not work. I hope lots of people read this review.
