Wonderful place to get your framing done. Prices are very reasonable. He was able to pick out different colors that looked fantastic with my piece of art. Has owned the same practice for 12 years.

Just had a painting framed here that I got while on a cruise to the Bahamas. Was not sure how it would look before I got it framed. Truly amazed how they showed it to me on the computer how it would look fully framed. I was very pleased by the knowledge and helpfulness. Would recommend to anyone

The Art of Framing.

- In 2001 I opened Traditions in a small store front on Westnedge ave. In 2004 I moved to my current location. I have worked at other frame shops in Kalamazoo and loved the work, but didn’t like the way they treated the customers in their stores. The owners worried about the profit of each job first, and the customers satisfaction always came last. Pricing games, cheap materials, and rushing of customers designs, seemed to be the motto of these stores. When I opened my store I made a promise to my guests, that none of these things would be happening at my store. I don’t double my prices and hand out 50% off coupons. I always use the best materials and have the most up to date training and equipment to produce the nicest final product. We have a large design table and encourage you to stay until all of your questions are answered. Maybe this is why receive so many referrals, and also frame for many of the area’s better artists. We have such a strong reputation that we now also produce the framing for several other frame shops in the area! - We are a full service, locally owned custom frame shop. We specialize in unique designs making use of our degrees in the fine arts and design. We are proud of our 20 years of experience. We are well-known for our framing of objects (shadowboxes) and in depth knowledge of museum quality framing.

- We are glad to come to your home or office if you are too busy to stop by. You are also welcome to take samples with you. We are the only frame shop in Southwest Michigan to have framing visualization software. You pick several frames and mat boards and we can show you, on the computer, how your finished framing will look. We can even email the images to co-workers or family members, so they can help you with your choices.
