Over the years, Riotto Funeral Home has become a landmark on the corner of Stagg St. and John F. Kennedy Blvd in Jersey City. In the early years, Randolph Riotto demonstrated his eagerness to serve others in the community through many civic and charitable organizations. He still remains active in many of these organizations.In 1961 Randy Sr. served as commissioner of the Sewerage Authority of Jersey City under Mayor Thomas Gangemi Sr. Randy is a member of the Hudson County Funeral Directors Association, and served as its President in 1965. He served as President of Unico National, Jersey City Chapter in 1966. Randy is also a longtime member of Rotary, Jersey City, National Funeral Directors Association, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Logan Sports Club, Forest Hill Field Club, American Legion and a trustee of the Dante Alighieri Society. Randy was selected as the 1991 Italian American of the Year by the Dante Alighieri Society of Jersey City and the Hudson County Columbus Day Parade Committee. Randy was also privileged to serve as the Voice of Columbus for two years. In 2001, Randy served as the Grand Marshall for the Columbus Day Parade and received a proclamation for his achievements by Mayor Glenn D. Cunningham. In 1991 Randy was inducted in to the Wm. L.
