The company s capabilities include spheroidize annealing, cold shear stress relieving, normalizing, lamellar and structure annealing, quench and tempering and shipping. Gerdau MACSTEEL also provides a range of in-house, value-added processes, including surface and ultrasonic inspection, straightening, MACPLUS turning and polishing, quenching, tempering, Gerdau MACSTEEL precision cutting and NITROTEC surface nitriding. Its engineered steel bar products are used in various equipment, such as engine mounts, motor shafts, rocker arms, fly wheels, spindles, yokes, valve bodies and railroad bearings.
