The O'Shea Insurance Agency was established in Benson in 1964 by John and Mary O'Shea, who operated it out of their large Sunset Lake Road farmhouse for years. The community-minded O'Sheas demonstrated their dedication to their friends and neighbors in their superior customer service and honesty, integrity, and reliability. They believed insurance purchasing should be simple and based on a thorough individual needs review.
In 1982, youngest son Ed O'Shea took the agency's reins. He carries on the family tradition with wife Tammy, a native Vermonter and Accredited Advisor of Insurance with more than 20 years of experience. Ed and Tammy live in Castleton with sons Zachary and Nathaniel, and are active in civic, church, community, and professional organizations.
In October, 1990, the agency moved into a spacious new two-story building on Route 4A in Hydeville, and just a few years ago, expanded into Wallingford as well. Stop by with your current policies for a no-obligation quote!
