They have shown up when it was an emergency, and another emergency, and another emergency...I trust the information that they provide, and have only run into one individual out of many that I could do without. Excellent services. Occasionally, I have found the price to be a bit high, and I got another plumber in a case where we had a misunderstanding, but over about six years, Jiffy Plumbing has provided good to great service! I can't give half a star on this rating system, but I would if I could! (Hide)

(More) It's somewhat disturbing that the person writing this review was NOT our customer but her daughter-in-law.We placed a phone call to the customer and she was quite pleased with the quality of service. In fact, we received a phone call from the grandson THANKING us for coming out to his grandmother's house on a very cold weekend night and providing her with heat while a control board was odered for a Monday installation. The price was quoted to the customer before any work was started and she felt very comfortable with the price as did her very knowlegible grandson. It seems that the customer's daughter-in-law likes to paint all service providers with the same brush, as she immediately disputed the amount of the invoice WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING WHAT SERVICES HAD BEEN PROVIDED! We realize that seniors are a very vulnerable target for unscrupulous repair shops, and we will always give them the special attention that they have earned. (Hide)

The tech (Kelvin) was able to come out the same day to diagnose and temporarily get the furnace working while another part needed to come in. Regularly kept me updated on part delays. One complaint that I do have is that their pricing for parts is rather high. I do understand that the price includes labor. Even considering that I feel that it's still high. I usually source repair parts from Grainger (a reputable company) and the parts would have cost me (non-contractor) $70 retail. Being conservative about what the labor portion of the cost might be, the parts markup they're pushing could be around 300%. One star penalty for the pricing but superb work and customer service. I got fooled by this company back in early June when my air quit. They sold me on replacing my entire system. The AC worked great however now that the weather is changing and we need heat I find that my heat won't turn on. So I called Jiffy who came out that night and found that the installers never activated the furnace(real nice). Now the heat turns on but blows nothing but cold air(awesome). So now I have to be inconvenienced and have another tech come out and "fix" my heat. Once I get my heat up and going I will never call this company again to do so much as even take out my trash. What a joke. Don't be fooled, go with another company!!!!! (Hide)

Chris M did a great job of seeing the project to completion over the course of several months, the delay being due to me, not Jiffy. The final step was hauling the cast iron tub to the second floor and installing the fixtures for the tub. The shower fixtures were chrome and Chris was meticulous when putting the tub and shower fixtures together, having to be very careful not to scratch the chrome. Chris was very friendly and professional and I won't hesitate to call Jiffy for my next project. (Hide)
