NASCF's goal is to improve the quality of life for people who suffer from Sickle Cell Conditions through patient enrichment programs, Educational programs, Counseling services, and Screening programs. Other services include Health Promotion Seminars, Financial emergency assistance, and socialization. In addition, a wellness clinic is set up at Huntsville's U.A.B. Medical Clinic that is designed to provide ongoing preventive medical care for Sickle Cell Patients (0-18 years of age).

The North Alabama Sickle Cell Foundation, Inc. (NASCF) is a community-based 501c (3) organization established in 1990, to improve the quality of life for individuals who suffer from sickle cell conditions such as sickle cell anemia. The North Alabama Sickle Cell Foundation provides services to the North Alabama counties of Colbert, DeKalb, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, and Morgan.
Amenities
Our representatives seek to provide quality services and benefits to the Huntsville and North Alabama Community through Patient Enrichment Programs, Educational Programs, Counseling Service programs, and Screening/Testing Programs. We also provide financial assistance to our clients by supplementing emergency needs for prescriptions, utilities, housing, transportation, food, and nutritional and medical needs.
