We switched to Dr. Bestic last fall after being with our previous vet for decades. My family was hesitant to change, however, I felt we were not receiving the proper care from our previous vet. After the first visit to Dr. Bestic's office my son declared he loved the place and it was the right decision to switch. Dr. Bestic and his staff have been wonderful in caring for our two dogs and has gone above and beyond helping resolve some issues with our recent rescue. He takes the time to truly understand the animals and the owners. We cannot say enough good things about them.

Dr. Bestic and his staff have offered superior care to my dog, Belle. She's a Shetland Sheepdog. The office is immaculate, we never have to wait and the care and follow up is second to none! I recommend The Veterinary Center of Hudson every chance I get!

Dr. Bestic is the worst veterinarian that I have ever been to. He is very condescending, and only truly cares about making money. I took my dog to him because he went blind, Bestic acted like it was my fault. I always took good care of my dog, and he just happened to go blind within a 24 hour peroid. Bestic also gave me expensive eye drop which did nothing for my dog concidering he was blind already. Dr. Bestic is a real joke, please do not go to this veterianian center. Just because this animal hospital is in hudson does not mean it is good. I could of got more help from a doctor in a poor neighborhood.

Dr. Bestic and his staff are awesome!!! I purchased a two month old Saint Bernard puppy from a breeder in Alliance, Ohio. He was everything I could ask for in a puppy and so much more!! A week after we'd had him though is when we noticed things were not quite right! Charley (our puppy) had diarrhea which we attributed to a change in food from what he'd been fed at the breeders. We took him to a local vet (Twinsburg Veterinary Hospital) who ran a parvo test (negative) and gave us some anti-diarrhea pills. He seemed better by the weekend and his energy spiked a bit. By the next week, however, he was way worse, his diarrhea came back and he was very lethargic, he also stopped eating (he could not be awoken at night via shaking and yelling his name). We took him to a different vet who treated him as if he had Parvo, every morning we took him to Gateway Animal Clinic for a round of fluids. Again, he seemed better for a few day. Again he got way worse...he stopped eating and drinking, became very lethargic, and lost a LOT of weight through his diarrhea. He even peed himself and pooped in his crate (he never does). We rushed him into VCH (they moved appointments around to cater to Charley and I) and saw him. He spent a week at their hospital while they ran a battery of testes that all came back negative. Towards the end of his stay, they thankfully diagnosed him of having Addison's disease! All I can say is if not for them Charley would have died for sure.

I had known Dr. Bestic professionally for several years from his previous employment. It was Dr. Bestic who knew immediately what to do for my dog after she got her paws into a bottle of chewable Rimadyl and ate all of it. He became my full-time veterinary provider this year.



I believe him to be a conscientious and dedicated provider, and his recommendations have not only prolonged my elderly dog's life this year, but also improved the quality of her life. I think Dr. Bestic appreciates the current economic stresses pet owners face and is reasonable in pricing products and services.



I drive an hour each way so that my dog is able to benefit from his care and treatment. I'd recommend Dr. Bestic and the staff of the Veterinary Center of Hudson to everyone.

I wish my family physician's office was this CLEAN :) !

The Dr. not only took the time to thoroughly examine and answer my questions about my sick dog, but he offered me samples of meds, and called the house to make sure everything was ok a few days later.

LOVE THIS PLACE and the staff. They even had a halloween party for the kids. I WOULD TRUST DR. BESTIC.

He is more interested in selling you his private label supplies than actually helping your pet. My vet bill was $175 and I never needed $80 of the products he sold me. You are better off just asking what products to use (buy NOTHING from him) and go to PetMeds.com - or better yet - GO SEE SOMEONE ELSE!!!

12/6- Follow-up: My dog had Kidney Failure and we had to put her down today. The Vet said that she should have had a blood test at her last appt and this would have been caught. Another reason we are VERY DISAPPOINTED!! Your facility might be fancy and clean, but your priorities are obviously PAYING for that building, not BUILDING TRUST!
