(More) I was watching Animal Planet tonight 04-05-2010 and I was just mortified I saw a case tonight concerning a man who had 10 horses taken from him, one of the investigators had staked out this man's horses and had been watching them for a while until he could find a reason to take them. These horses were well fed, there was no rain rot or ulcers on their skin. One of the horses had an old eye injury that had healed but left the eye red in the inner canthus, one had an old injury that was healed but left a scar and several needed their hoves tended to but nothing major or CRUEL.They had a picture of a dead horse and one that was skin and bones. I don't believe the dead horse or the skinny one was his. One of the investigators even ended up with one of this man's horses! probably the one who staked out the place. I think the Houston ASPCA should be investigated. this man's horses were taken from him unjustly. The judges are always on board with the ASPCA even if they are wrong! (Hide)
