I absolutely LOVED Greta!! I went to her for alterations for my wedding dress for a June 2016 wedding. Not only was Greta wonderful to work with, but she did an incredible job. My lace dress needed quite a bit of alterations and somehow Greta was able to hem the intricate lace at the bottom and then totally alter the top while maintaining the design of the dress. She is awesome. My sister actually just went to her today for her wedding dress alterations and my mom has gone to her for her mother of the bride alterations. I will definitely be using her again...for a maid of honor dress to start!

Greta is AMAZING having done prom dresses for my daughters (1 with 9 layers of crinoline) and my oldest daughters wedding dress - we wouldn't go anywhere else. She is often very busy, but when she tells you it will be done, it is! You will never find stitching errors, or overlaped seams. Some people have her do their jeans as well as suits and business attire - I learned to sew as a young woman, but Gretas knowledge of fabrics etc is just unbelievable! !!

I had an intricate beaded dress for my daughter's prom that needed work, and Greta knocked it out of the ballpark. She gave me a two-week turnaround even though it was the height of prom season. The dress was done on time, perfect in every detail! I couldn't be more thrilled with Greta and her skills!

Alterations by Greta was simply amazing! I was referred to her from my Mother in Law who took her Mother of the Groom dress to Greta. She looked absolutely fabulous in her dress because of the alterations that were done. My Mother's Mother of the Bride dress also came out flawless. My Mom's dress was tricky because of the thread and Greta found the perfect thread for her alterations without any extra charge. My wedding dress was not only too big but was difficult because of the bustle. Greta never faltered when I came in. She made me feel at ease and worked her magic. The fit of my dress made my dress and that is not an understatement. She worked quickly, her prices were fair and she was so kind to my whole family. I now will go no where else!!!

The fitting of my 'mother of the bride' gown was beyond my expectations. Extra fittings were not a problem to get everything just perfect. She was easy to work with.

Dropped a pair of men's pants off that needed to be shortened and needed them the next day, Greta was so accommodating and had them ready the next day as promised and at a super reasonable price ... thank you Greta!

I dropped two suits off with Greta for some alterations. They fit me perfectly now. There's something to be said for the comfort you get out of having a perfectly tailored suit, and that is exactly what you'll get with Greta. You will not find someone better!

My daughter 4'11' purchased a mermaid prom dress that would fit a 5'5" person. 3 different tailors told us that there was nothing they could do to make it fit her without changing the look of the dress. But Greta assured us " It Is What I do! " Well It came out PERFECT ! and I had a Happy daughter and a Happy mom and she only charged us $50 what a steal!! For a $400 Non Returnable DRESS.

I have a Phillies pillbox cap which was a little big. Greta applied spandex inside the back of the cap and now it fits perfect. Thanks Greta!

Dropped of a leather jacket for zipper repair. I had to contact her 3 weeks later and was told that she can't do it the job and is waiting for someone else to do it but they we not available at this time. Waited another week then picked up the jacket unrepaired. Not good business practices in my opinion.

Greta took in a bridesmaid dress and sewed in cups for me and took in, hemmed, created bustle and attached cups and decorative flowers to my sister's wedding gown. Everything fit perfectly after only one quick fitting and the prices were very reasonable. Definitely recommend!
