About EASTCONN The mission of EASTCONN is to work in partnership with schools and communities to develop, provide and support cost-effective education and training opportunities for learners. EASTCONN, one of six Regional Educational Service Centers (RESCs) in Connecticut, has been serving the educational and training needs of schools, organizations, and individuals of all ages in Northeastern Connecticut since 1980. To meet these ever-changing needs, EASTCONN offers a broad scope of programs and services. Although the audience for programs and services may vary from children and teachers to organizations and individuals, EASTCONN's mission remains clear in each of our offerings -- learning is a lifelong journey and EASTCONN is the road to success. From facilitating teacher, staff and organizational development, giving parents and educators the skills and support they need, providing services to children, helping people find the path to successful employability, to providing opportunities for an individual's personal enrichment, where there is a need and desire to learn -- EASTCONN is there. EASTCONN's 375 employees work closely with 36 Board of Education and towns in Northeastern Connecticut. Headquartered in Hampton, EASTCONN operates eight satellite offices and a fleet of approximately 95 transportation vehicles throughout the region and offers many of its programs in other locations.
