Let me start by saying that I ...

Let me start by saying that I have been going to Masters Stereo for years and never had any problems. I don't expect anyone to be perfect. I'm not perfect and neither is anyone else. But when you look someone in the face and tell a bold face lie because someone in your shop screwed up....That's unexceptable! My sub wasn't coming on and that's why I took it there so they could see what the problem was.I was still under warranty. As soon as I arrived they pulled it in the back. I told the receptionist that I will be at the Zobra Lounge at the corner and just give me a call when they are finished. After about an hour and a half my phone battery began to die.So I headed back to Masters. Another receptionist ask how can I be helped I told her I was waiting on my car. After about 15 minutes....The original receptionist came out of the back and said my Kenwood head unit didn't come on and that the light was just blinking. I told her my head unit was working when I brought it here. She said it didn't come on when they brought it in the back. Now mind you...They had it in the back for almost 2 hours now. But she's telling me that it was out when they took it back there. No one called and said hey your unit isn't coming on.She tried to imply that it was out when I brought it there. What kind of fool do I look like. She ask me to come to the back and check it out. As I get back there....A technician who just arrived was working on the car. He got the unit back on and replaced the non working sub in less than 20 minutes. How do I know I was just lied to? The technician who knew what he was doing told me that he was somewhere else changing out a timing belt when they ask him to come in to look at my car. Someone else screwed up and didn't know how to get it back on and they had to call someone else to clean up the mess.So this receptionist tried to put it on me before they knew that they could fix the screw up. THAT'S DISHONESTY FOR YOUR A%%....She thought I was Boo Boo the fool.So after that lying ...I wouldn't go back there if they were giving away subs! How could I trust them after that. If they screw up....They will try to put it on the customer!

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!

I made an appointment days in advance. I took the earliest available. I arrived at 11. They told me it would take 2 hours to install the remote start. As i type its 2:20 and they are still saying and hour and. A half. The customer service is horrible. Multiple customers getting new sound systems b installed have come and gone while i stil sit here and am given the run around. PLEASE STAY AWAY! SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AND TIME SOMEWHERE ELSE. SOMEWHERE BETTER! You've been warned.

Great company for upgrading your ride!

I have done business with these people several times; and they really go the extra mile to take care of their customers. I do not live in Greenville anymore; but I still drive the extra miles to continue to do business with them!

Awesome Stereo Shop!!

I have been a customer of Masters Car Stereo of Greer SC since 2004. They closed down in September of 2008 and now I go to Masters of Greenville. I went there the other day to get my DVD Player fixed in my Tundra. They said the factory warranty was still in effect so they ordered me another. My l.e.d lights underneath my truck didn't work any more so I asked them to see what was wrong with it. In 2 days I got a call, my DVD Player was already in. I went down there and it took them about 1 hour to swap out my old DVD Player for the new one. They found a wire that had came loose and reconnected it back so my l.e.d's worked again. GREAT SERVICE!!!! I am very happy with the outcome of my visit to the Masters of Greenville. Very respectable people and a awesome business. I will be back the next time I need something for my stereo! Thanks Masters!

Quality Company!!!

These guys have seen it all. They've been around a long time and that's why I went to them whenever I wanted to upgrade my stereo in my car. From top to bottom, my experience with Master's Car Stereo was excellent. I walked in the door and was immediately greeted by a friendly sales person. He didn't pester me (I hate it when that happens in a store) but he was around when I needed to ask questions. Once, I had browsed around a bit, I found an in dash video system that I really liked. It was an Alpine IVA-505.

I told the salesmen that I was interested in the unit and he proceeded to tell me all the good features about the unit and how it even allowed me to use my ipod on the screen ( a big selling point for me). The next thing I knew, I was given a very fair price quote and told that my installation would have a lifetime warranty. Everything was great, but the lifetime warranty sold me. For a business that's been around for so long the warranty is a huge plus. I know they're not going anywhere and that if I have any problems I can always go back to get any issue resolved.

P.S.- About a month after the Alpine stereo was installed, it started behaving a little strange. So, I just called and made an appointment, and within 30 minutes they had fixed the issue and sent me along my way. That happened months ago and everything has been awesome since then!!

I would gladly shop at Master's Car Stereo again!

totally inept... aren't they supposed the be the top of the line ???

totally inept.

went there because of a referral from a major, reputable car dealer-

these guys are supposed to the 'top of the line' in car audio, in the area...

what a joke !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

not only did they say they could install an item- which, i came to find out later, that appearantly the item doesn't even exist yet- they called, and said they had the components in...

so i drove 90 miles (round trip), only to sit in their place of business, getting a severe migrain from the ridiculously loud, thumping stereos, for HOURS... only to be told "oh, we don't actually have all the components yet".

what the **** ?

we'll call you when we get the right parts in.

so, a few weeks later- they call back saying they have the components in now...

so, again, another 90 miles round trip (on 85- ugh !)

and 6 hours later they finally get around to putting some lame, 10 dollar 'mickey mouse' cord/jack, hanging out of the glove-box...

and THEN they figure out that no other components ever got ordered because they never even looked at the invoice or made any changes- besides the fact that the parts don't even exist yet.

the fact is- they totally dropped the ball and had complete miscommuniction all the way around.

a complete and total lack of professionalism.

they really weren't very sorry about the whole thing, either.

so now i have this stupid cord hanging out of my glove box (that probably cost 10 bucks)- and they won't refund my 300 dollars until they tke their 'part' (the f'in cord) out of my glove box.

in addition to this- they also marred/SCRATCHED THE HELL OUT OF MY BRAND NEW CAR'S DASH, where they 'professionally' pryed off the face of the stereo, etc...

so now the whole thing (part being taken out and my refund) is being handled by the car dealer who recommended these losers- because i am done with them.

MY ADVICE- STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS- THEY ARE INCOMPETENT.
