      Piedmont Personal Builders specializes in building custom homes on scattered home sites owned by the homebuyer. This initiative is in response to the difficulty many prospective homebuyers have experienced over the years in finding a custom builder to build a quality, site-built home on land they already own. Piedmont Personal Builders offers nearly a dozen floor plans, including ranch, first-floor master, and two story designs. These homes range from 2, 000 square foot ranch designs to two-story plans over 3, 600 square feet, base priced from under $200, 000 to around $300, 000. You can modify these plans any way you like. Or, if you've already found a plan you like better, we'll build your plan! This exciting innovation in homebuilding is offered almost anywhere in the Central North Carolina you want to live. Piedmont Personal Builders President Regis Skeehan has over 30 years experience in homebuilding. He has served in both staff and line capacities in major national homebuilding companies. And he has experience with local custom and semi-custom homebuilders as well. He has been involved in building over 3, 000 homes, over 300 of which were built on scattered sites on the customer's property. He holds BA and MBA degrees from the University of Pittsburgh. Regis and his wife Judy live in the Lake Jeanette area of Greensboro. Piedmont Personal Builders Construction Vice President Tom Bernard has 17 years experience in home construction and remodeling. In addition to experience in the supervision and management of home construction, he has also worked in the trades as a framer. His homebuilding experience includes working with custom building, as well as with major national homebuilding companies. He managed a construction department building over 100 homes annually on scattered home sites in both rural and suburban areas. He holds a BA from the University of Cincinnati. Tom, his wife Linda, and three children live in the Oak Ridge area of Guilford County.
