We are owned by more than 500 farmers who raise and produce crops, livestock, nursery stock, dairy products, maple syrup, forest products, and more. When you shop with us, you support local agriculture. We carry THOUSANDS of local, regional and national items for the home, farm, yard, garden and your pets, The Greenfield Farmers Cooperative Exchange was established in 1918 by six farmers along a railroad siding off Deefield Street in Greenfield. Their purpose was to purchase products, feed and fertilizer at the best possible prices. Today, The Exchange continues this mission with thousands of products for the farm, home, yard, garden and pets. The store moved to it?s present location in the 1970?s and has expanded many times since. There are now more than 500 members.Less
