Institutes for Human Potential is a nonprofit educational organization serving the development needs of children.The Institute, founded in 1955, introduces parents to the field of child brain development. Parents learn how the brain grows and how to speed and enhance that growth. The goal of The Institute is to raise significantly the intellectual, physical, and social abilities of all children. The Institutes specializes in brain injured children and since its inception has succeeded in changing attitudes toward brain-injured children. Members of The Institutes include anthropologists, therapists, educators, and physicians who come from the United States, Brazil, England, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Spain, Guatemala, and Italy. These members are child brain developmentalists who have earned certification at the Temple Fay Institute for Academics, a graduate teaching organization offering courses designed to meet stringent requirements. The Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential is a bona fide member of The International Academy for Child Brain Development. This organization was founded in 1984 as a federally tax-exempt nonprofit corporation.
