I went to see Dr Maurer because it's close to where I work. At 45 years old my vision had always been excellent up until a few months ago. He did a thorough eye exam and explained everything to me. I had actually weakened my focusing muscles because I started wearing cheaters that were too strong for my weakening eyesight. He figured out an appropriate prescription for me. I have recently been to see Dr. Maurer. I felt a bit rushed selecting my glasses. And the office carpet is dirty. He seems to be very thorough but doesn't communicate well about what he's doing. Having mixed feelings about going back.
