I dropped off a formal dress that only needed two seams taken in a little, giving them well over a week to get it done before an important formal party this weekend. The day AFTER the dress was supposed to be done, they called me to say their seamstress couldn't do it, and they were calling in another seamstress. Two days later, they finally call to say that the alteration is going to be $25 MORE than they originally quoted, and I've already paid them $20 IN ADVANCE for this work! Now it's one day before the party, and I have no dress to wear, because I cannot afford pay the extra money for a simple service they promised at a lower rate! PLEASE DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU! Take your clothes somewhere else for alterations!
