This clean campground is operated by Corps of Engineers. Each site has shade, water, electric, paved parking pad, gravel side yard with fire ring, picnic table and lantern stand. Park has paved roads with speed bumps, 1 dump station for campground, but sites 34 (walkup only) and 19 (reservation on-line) have full hookups including sewer. All 3 dumpsters are emptied twice a week. Each of the 3 bathhouses have 2 showers, 3 commodes, but no handsoap and is not cooled or heated, but includes a laundry with 1 washer and 1 dryer. The swimming area needs new sand. Recreation area includes a museum, volleyball/tennis court, basketball hoops, picnic shelters and boat ramp. The campground gates are locked from 10PM to 6AM daily, gates will be opened by on-duty park attendant for emergency only. No food available at campground, 4 miles from town of Fulton, MS. Campsite rental limited to 14 consecutive days. Campground may be busy on weekends, but normally very quiet and peaceful.
