well as a nurse from an acute care facility, i was really afraid to put my mom in a rehab/skilled nursing facility. she fractured her pelvis and needed over 2 months of extended care. She was a minimum two person care ratio for awhile due to her intense pain and multiple fractures. I must tell you She and I were thrilled! No kidding! My mom had numerous challanging roomates, the aides were prompt, and kind. I watched carefully. the physical therapy was amazing, pushing, encouraging, coaxing, just enough. The facility was clean, the staff kind, pet therapy and lots of social activities. My sister and i worried that mom would be bored and loose her will to get better. Soon we could not reach her as she was always at some activity! Andy the social director is very sweet and tries so hard to engage everyone. I came at all hours. sometimes the night nurses aides took longer than a few minutes to get people to the toilet, but they were always working hard. I am happy to recommend this place!

This is a troubled facility. Agreed, rehab is great, with skilled or and pt therapists!! However, the nursing assistants are sometimes emotionally abusive at night and untrustworthy. The administrators seem focused on the bottom line. Would I want my father or mother here?? No!!!

Excellent Rehabilitation. Nursing Services are great. The staff are very caring. I would recommend it to all my friends.

The facility is absolutely beautiful! Upon entering I was greeted with a smile and offered coffee (they have a machine brewing Starbucks!) The staff is friendly and they take wonderful care of the residents. Their rehab room is awesome! They had a woman bowling on the Nintendo Wii on a giant flatscreen. One of the therapists mentioned that the residents have a lot of fun (and that it was wonderful therapy!) They have all the traditional equipment as well. I'd have to say that my experience with them changed the way I viewed skilled nursing facilities. If I ever need short-term care I know where I would like stay. Great job guys!!
