Just had the absolute worst refrigerator buying experience ever. Placed an order online for a new refrigerator, placed the order on May 7th. Recieved and email with a delivery date of May 23rd. Called the fulfilling store, Frisco, on Monday to verify the delivery and see if I could get the delivery moved to Friday when someone would be home all day. The person I spoke with moved the delivery date to today, Friday the 24th, and was told I would get a call last night with a 2 hour time window of delivery. At 8:30 last night I called the store again because I had not recieved a call with the 2 hour delivery window. I was assured last night the fridge would be on the truck and delivered today and I would get a call this morning with the 2 hour delivery window. I called at 11:00 am this morning at which point I was informed the fridge is a special order and was not at the store yet and the soonest it could possibly be delivered was the end of next week. I spoke with Josh an associate with internet orders, and while he was polite and apologetic, said our only options were to wait, or to cancel the order. We canceled the order and will never buy anything from Lowe's ever again.

We bought a dish washer at the end October 2014 and after we installed it we noticed it had a leak. We went back to Lowes and exchanged it for a different model and bought their installation package this time. I took a vacation day to be home for the day of installation 12-05-14. Lowes installation team came to our house and asked us to put up our dogs. While we were putting up our dogs the contractor left. We called Lowes and now they are sending another contractor for another date but it will be another week or two.



I would not recommend Lowes to anybody for the installation of appliances, they use contractors that are very unprofessional and unreliable. This has been one of the worst and most stressful experiences I have ever went through.

Was just at Lowe's on Preston Road, and checked out at 4:32 pm from the garden center. The young lady manning the cash register did not want to honor my Military Retired ID, and then when pushed to do so, she did so grudgingly. She made it clear that she did not respect anyone who is currently serving our country, and who has served in the past. She is entitled to her views, but I know that her view is not the view of Lowe's. It's a shame that they have hired and keep someone who does not share and reflect their views. I doubt I will ever go back to this Lowes because of this young lady, which is OK since I am visiting from the Austin area.
