Our Mission: To promote active participation and financial support for programs and activities that help individuals and communities develop positive attitudes, and improve their quality of life. Helping people reach their dreams and overcoming unusual obstacles and challenges are central to our mission. Three Main Areas of Direction: A worldwide goal of changing attitudes and actions (negatives to positives and losses to gains), through motivational speeches and community involvement. Helping others reach their dreams through modern technology. Through the purchasing of specialized equipment for individuals with disabilities (particularly kids), we will help eliminate educational and social barriers, creating independence, dignity, self worth and respect. To build and operate fully wheelchair accessible camps. The first of its kind, originating in Oregon, built in the year 2000. These barrier free camps will give individuals and families, with or without disabilities, the opportunity to enjoy the freedom of camping, attending conferences, being involved in a retreat or outdoor school, just to name a few. Camp Attitud is a non-profit organization, committed to meeting the challenges of providing a positive camping experience for disabled children and adults. We are located on 34 acres of flat, riverfront land in Foster, Oregon. This wonderfully forested area will allow individuals, families, churches and youth groups the opportunity to enjoy outdoor living without the barriers found in many camps. In addition, Camp Attitud is just minutes away from medical assistance, shopping and other necessary services.
