The company offers hot- and cold-formed tank heads made from carbon steel, stainless steel and various other alloys. It has two manufacturing plants in Fort Worth, Texas. It provides oval-elliptical transport heads in a number of patterns and styles made from carbon, stainless, and aluminum material. The company offers tank heads in various shapes, such as hemisphere, oval, rolled shells, and custom plate burning. In addition to a wide variety of tank heads, Fort Worth F&D Head Company also offers rolled cylinders up to 192-inch in diameter, cones and toriconical heads. It offers cones and toriconical heads certified by American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
