(More) After having worked through a nursing agency at practically every nursing home / skilled care facility in the city of Fort Wayne, I can honestly say the Woodview is far and away the BEST of the BEST in all arenas. The quality of care, the excellent staffing and hands on attention given by John August, the Administrator, assure that the residents are cared for like family. NO JOKE. Many of the staff have been there for 10 - 20 years and would quit the business before leaving. The food - excellent. Cleanliness - outstanding. As far as the State survey goes...look for yourself. Every day is conducted as though the State were standing by, watching. Excellence is demanded in all they do there from the Administrator to the Director of Nursing to the Evening Supervisors. When they say 24 hour care...it's 24 HOURS/ 365 days a year. There are many places in town I wouldn't leave my dog for 15 minutes. I'm only 40 and I have already asked if I can be put on the waiting list! Wendy Cox LPN  (Hide)
