General Info

Three Rivers Running Company opened for business in March of 2004 as a locally owned, independent running specialty retailer. We launched operations with the mission of bringing top-notch customer service and outstanding product to Fort Wayne area runners and walkers. Our product focused on about a half dozen of the primary shoe brands in the run industry along with about a half dozen apparel brands and some cool accessories ( we have MUCH more today! ). The hallmark of our service process was personalized gait analysis for running shoe selection ( still is! ). Over the first couple of years we learned a lot, grew a lot, added shoe brands, added apparel brands, added accessories, and added a race to our service offerings ( Three Rivers 12k in May of each year ). By the middle of 2006, we had already outgrown our first location in southwest Fort Wayne. Thus, at the beginning of November, 2006 we opened the doors of a much larger location our present facility at 4227 North Clinton Street in Fort Wayne. We continue to learn, add new product ( see our product pages to view the many brands we carry ), add more services ( run groups, personal coaching, team sales, yoga classes, educational clinics, etc. ), and become more extensively involved in local races and events. But through all of the growth and expansion, we continue to retain our intense focus on top-notch personalized service. From our start as a small specialty retailer, TRRC has evolved into something much greater. Our goal today is to serve as, and to continue to grow as, a comprehensive service organization in the run, triathlon, and fitness industries. We are not just about providing product to our communities we are about providing knowledge, providing education, providing quality services, developing quality events, and providing group participation opportunities. We seek to be an advocate for our sports and activities within the communities we serve. We seek to facilitate the health, fitness, and well-being goals of our customers. We seek to enhance the enjoyment that our customers derive from their activities. To this day we remain a local organization. We are staffed by runners, walkers, and triathletes for the benefit of runners, walkers, and triathletes. Each staff participates in one or more of these activities, so we know the product and the sports. With that knowledge and experience, we are confident that we can assist you in your run, walk, and triathlon endeavors whatever they may be!
